For the strong and modern young woman who knows her own mind and is not easily swayed by peer pressure and media influence.
Based on the principles of Positive Psychology, this fun and fearless program includes further developing resilience, positive relationships and mindfulness.
This unique workshop covers:
- Identifying your strengths and using them during tough times
- Spotting strength in others
- Identifying personal values and setting goals
- Creating positive relationships
- Using self-talk to stay strong
- Using cutting edge Mindfulness techniques in everyday life
- Thought watching
- Clean and healthy living
- Being comfortable with who you are
The Unlocking Ur Girl Power Workshop will commence in Term 2, and will be held over 4 Saturdays from 10am to 12pm.
Facilitated by Chiu Lau, Principal Psychologist. Sue is a highly qualified Registered Psychologist with over.Sue is a highly qualified and Registered Psychologist with over 30 years’ experience working with children, adolescents and parents.
She has presented workshops for the Institute of Psychiatry, as well as presented at a number of conferences on Positive Psychology, over the past 6 years. Sue has also worked as a Senior Supervising Psychologist in the NSW Public School system and has authored a number of school based resilience programs.
